If there's a bang?

I have a 42'' samsung rear projection tv, after plugging it in there was a loud bang, please can you suggest what I may be looking for.....besides a new tv!!!

Big capacitors sometimes go off with a loud bang...

These things are usually in the power supply area on a TV.

Take care poking around - a capacitor can still give a shock even with the set unplugged.
