Would be very grateful for a code for my Ford 6000CD (mondeo 2004 Estate ).
My battery died now unable to enter the Radio Keycode as the code was not recorded in the Audio Guide Booklet

That is not the radio serial number Garry. It usually starts with an "M" "A", "L" or "C". If it is a "V" then you need to take it to the dealers or a re-coder as you can't get "V" codes for free.. You can find it on the body of the radio.
