Hoover AS110 Washer stalls in program 4?

My Hoover AS110 Quattro stalls during program 4, it just sits there making a clicking noise.
If I switch it on and off the drum starts to turn, but it stalls again. Clicking the control on one notch cures the problem.
The heater and thermostat are working OK, it fills and empies ok
