If you transported it on its side and switched it on and the compressor started and ran then you have probably allowed the oil in the compressor to run in to the pipe work and cause a serious problem!.standing it up and hoping the oil returns to the compressor and unblocks the pipework is the only no cost thing you can do.

If you have put a fridge freezer outside it will not work unless wherever it is is at 14deg c or above.Not sure if this is what you meant as your original post was unclear
