How do I fit a new rear door handle moulding to a Land Rover Freelander ?

I need to replace the rear door handle moulding on my 'w' reg Land Rover Freelander. It's broken away at the fixing screw positions in to the moulding. Presumably I will have to remove the inner door panel/lining to access the fittings and electrical connections etc.
