how can i fix my Main Combi 24HE c/heating thermostat?

Hi whenever i put the heating on, the radiators will be very hot regardless if i turn the thermostat knob down. All the controls are on the boiler i.e i do not have a timer elsewhere in the house. Thankyou

faulty knob perhaps?would req resistance checks-are there thermostatic valves on rads?did this happen to all rads at same time or over period of time?sys might be set at full ch temp regardless of knob-google for boiler manual-have a look at fault/troubleshooting guide/if u can download service manual for engineers(assuming there is one for your model)there probably be more info regarding ch temp setting
