Mend Proform 830 QT Motor Move Replace

My proform 830 QT incline does not work?

The incline motor makes noise, but it does not move. Do I have to replace the motor (Very expensive) or will it be enough replacing the sensor? I took the motor apart, cleaned it and put it back, but no luck.
