velux window?

when i go to close my velux windown its stiff and when gets shut it dont lock. any answers

It sounds like you need to oil the hinges and also clear out any debris that may have accumulated and be blocking them.

I have had the same problem and managed to fix with a pair of pliers. One of the metal keeps was bent at the top of the window,after straightning it closes fine.I also sprayed the hinges with WD40.
