Rover 45 heater problems?

My Rover 45's heater has only been working on positions iii & iv for a while now, but lately (on these positions) the heater seems to slow down and stop after approx 1 minute or so, then after 5 to 10 minutes it picks up again only to repeat the process after about another minute or so.

THE PROBLEM WITH YOUR HEATER IS THE RESISTOR WHICH YOU CAN BUY ON EBAY FOR £3.99 THE SELLER IS CALLED NUFUEL. TAKES ABOUT HALF HOUR TO FIX.SAVES ABOUT £40.00 IN THE GARAGE.
