Hi,
when you popped some fuel done the bore did it try and start?
Also is the spark consistantly blue and bright, I have known a weak spark not enough to ignite fuel. did you try the fuel down the bore with new plug in?
Worth cleaning carb out be very careful lots of delicate bits.
However if it did not try and fire when you popped fuel down the bore then it would suggest something else is a miss.
When you try and kick it over is the kick start free moving or a bit stiff.
