After repairing my mower by adding new rings and shortening lifter because of some cam shaft warpage, I found that engine starts and runs great, but I neglected to attach kill-wire from ignition switch. Grounding it does not work. Where do I attach the other end of wire?
i have a brigg& stratton 18hp v twin . eng runs good but strater switch wires go were to coil . i can trun on by key switch but when i go trun off it does not shet off

If it has electronic ignition, there is only one wire from the unit, if this wire is earthed out it should cut the ignition, it is normally a black wire connected to the back of the unit, if it does not stop check the wire is not broken internaly, make sure when you earth it out it is earthed to the engine block, this should rule out the ignition switch, does it now stop? if not you will need a new ignition unit as there must be an internal break.
