How can i fix my FDF780 Dishwasher?

Hi, i have a hotpoint Aquarius dishwasher model FDF780. it has developed a problem, where it starts its cycle and then stops, then flashes a code of A - 8 which is not shown in the manual. when i open the door, the tablet has been released but there is no water. any solutions????
