how can i fix my remote locking?

My remote key fob has stopped opening the boot on my 05 c-max, it used to open the boot when you pressed the unlock button, the boot unlocked with all the other doors, now you have to press the boot release button, whilst not a severe problem can be very annoying. I have tried to re-program the fob which worked correctly but still does not unlock the boot.
