Hi, I have just moved house and have a Potterton Suprima heat only boiler.
The boiler works but makes an awful noise as though an aircraft is taking off.
I have bled the system which help reduce the noise slightly but still the whirrling laboured noise still persits.
Hope you can help
only know 2 things that spin fast in a boiler.
1) the fan
2) the water pump
the bearings could be failing in either one.
if you can locate the pump and increase its speed does the whirling noise increase
