how can i fix a Whirlpool AWO/D4505 Washing Machine?

i have a problem with my machine when it on and it finishes the washing comes out wringing wet then i have to spin it for a further 3 times before it anything decent i have taken the front plate of at the bottom and it is clear also checked that the hose at the rear to drain the water is blocked i am also needing to know if the drum is plastic or metal as there are towo different types of limescale tablets for each can anyone help with problem
