lever handles on damixa monobloc tap?

Hi, just bought a Sofia monobloc lever handle tap from B&Q to replace 10yr old Damixa-identical design. On Damixa handles pulled towards me to turn tap on. On Sofia they push away from me. Is this just a change in design (push away makes more sense to me)? Wife liked Damixa "pull towards you" method better and is driving me mad saying I've installed it wrong! Help!

I have a tap identical to this one; they're made by damixa. How do you get the handles off? On mine there is no alan-key bolt that can be removed. Also can you get replacement ceramic valves for these, as my cold tap keeps dripping despite it being off.

I would appreciate and help or advice please.

Many thanks all

I have a Sofia Monobloc Tap Chrome Finish; the cold side is dripping slightly so I was wondering how to self repair this problem? Thoughts or advice anyone.

Bought tap from B&Q - see here: http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=9996592&fh_view_size=10&fh_start_index=50&fh_location=//catalog01/en_GB&fh_search=taps&fh_eds=%C3%9F&fh_refview=search&ts=1288030285625&isSearch=true

Many thanks

A word of caution, you then need to swap the hot and cold supllies. The guts of the taps are different for hot and cold. The designated 'cold' tap will fail when used with hot water.

I have just had the same problem, so I simply pulled the handles off, undid the valves/cartridge inside, swapped them over, then replaced the handles.

It seemed remarkably easy - possibly too easy - However it seems to have done the trick, although only time will tell !
