I have checked for blocked lines and pump. The machine will go through the rinse cycle but will not switch to draining the water. There is no audible noise coming from the machine after the rinse cycle. The machine just seems to stop. Any advice is greatly appreciated

I am not sure what model number that you have. I am assuming you have a direct drive washer made by Whirlpool. Model numbers that start with 110.xxxxxxx. If your washer is dead during the drain mode check out for a bad lid switch. You may not hear that audible "click" as you shut the washer door. You'll have to remove the washer cabinet to replace.
