radio code safe 7? astra?

i recently took my radio out, and when i put it back i put the code in wrong twice, it now says safe 7, i know that i have to push in the AS button then turn on the ignition, and then the code, but for some reason it is not changing from safe 7, it does not even change to the 4 0000, can anybody help
