I checked the motor coil resistance and no problems there. I resoldered a couple of suspect joints on the motor control board and cleaned some contacts before reconnecting and running the diagnostic again.
While I was reconnecting I noticed that the cable to 'Pin 1' on the motor was all but separated. I made a temporary repair and now get a very brief EF4 followed by E9F, no E57.
Any Ideas?
So it was motor to inverter loom with a broken wire.had one or two of these lately.EF4 is saying there is no water flow (where you testing disconnected from water supply?).EF9 not to sure about but main control board keeps springing in to my head (lets hope its not).clear codes.connect it up fully and try a normal wash program and see what happens
