Inglis model# 1A44500?

the washer fills and agitates, but after washing the timer keeps clicking and moving forward and sometimes it spins very slowly letting out some water but it does not spin the clothes properly. the timer keeps moving until it is finished but the clothes are still sitting in soapy water when finished. the coupler has been changed. Sometimes when I stop and move the timer I can get it to spin, but it stops again when it comes to the next time to spin. Could it be the timer. I understand the timer is expensive and wonder if it is worth it. The machine is 12 years old and has been used by two families. looking forward to some advice, thanks MB

yes, what has been described are most likely caused by the timer and it will need to be replaced. since most timers are between 100 and 200 dollars it is expensive to buy a new one but the timer can be rebuilt for half the price. Most repair shops who deal in your model will send your timer away and it will take about a week. You will have to take the timer off the machine and take it to the shop.
