I Entered the correct code for my Philips car 400 it still wont work Help!!?

with the radio in the off position and the vehical in the red and amber lights on ie in start or accessory position press and hold the as button and keep held while you turn the unit on keep pressed untill you here a bleep then enter the no's with buttons 1>4 and then press and hold again untill unit bleeps unit should now work,
