Toshiba RD-XV48DTKB incorrect date on recorder?

How do I reset the date. 0n the 1st March it is showing the date as the 4th March. Going into clock setting it always reverts to the 4th.

JUST HAD SAME PROBLEM AGAIN THIS YEAR 2011 with 1st March showing as 4th March. Has now corrected itself on 2nd March as it did last year. Assum that this is a fault that will appear at trhis date each year. The Toshiba will not allow the date to be manually corrected.

On my Toshiba this fault corrected itself at midnight, I think that this unit picks up its time signal from the TV broadcast and this was wrong.

Same problem with RD-XV48DTKB HDD & DVD / Video Cassette Recorder.

Tried it again at 02 March, 01:02 am and it is now correct. I guess its internal leap-year controls were applied incorrectly, adding the 3 day jump having already reset to 1st Mar!! But auto date change now accepted ok. Shame I could not record anything yesterday.

IK have exactly the same problem with an RD -98dtkb. Could it be connected with Feb finishing three days 'early'?
