GE JVM132K-002?

The fuse is located behind the panel on the right hand side. It is mounted vertically. You can pull the fuse out (unplug unit first) and test with a multimeter. Look for less than .5 ohm. If it test bad replace it. If it test okay you more than likely have bigger issues.

Husband found the fuse. More on this later. In the meantime, many units seem to fit replacement size of approximate 30 x 17 dimensions. Mostly GE later JVM models, Spacemaker JVM1540DNWW, Profile PVM1870DMWW (more expensive) or over-the-range such as Whirlpool Model WMH2175XVQ, Hotpoint RVM1535DMWW. I'm sure there are any number of them with price ranging from $199-$700.

Me too (JVM132K-003) but first I want to see if I can replace the fuse, provided I can locate it within the control box. I just saw the reply from an appliance repair tech who advised to first replace the fuse. Cheaper than replacing :) I'm looking for a diagram to find the fuse's location.
