I'm trying to repair the cord rewind on my Oreck Little Hero vacuum cleaner?

I'm trying to repair the cord rewind on my Little Hero vacuum cleaner and need to know how to open the canister to access the rewind mechanism. Can any one give me instructions on to access this part of the Little Hero.
