how to replace inline fuse for halogen bulb?

My bathroom halogen bulb is not working even after I replaced the bulb which definitely should work. After similar problem in the kitchen few years ago, I found in my draw a plastic strip of what look like pairs of fuses where each pair has 4 holes and 2 screws like the one in electric plug. I am supposed to replace the one which is fitted behind the bulb with new one, How? I do not even know the proper name for these plastic things so that I could search it. I manged as far as pulling the bulb out of the whole and exposing the wires. My bulb is
50W LV Halogen Please help if you can. Thank you.

What you describe with four holes and two screws may well be a terminal block strip just used for joining wires together - not a fuse at all. They look like this...

Bought in long strips and pieces cut off as needed.

Your lamp has LV for low voltage printed on it (12V) - it will be powered by a small transformer often hidden in the ceiling void - your transformer may have failed.

If you're not confident in diagnosing and repairing faults like this perhaps an electrician should be called in particularly for a fault in bathroom.

Good luck...
