U1 Error code?

I have a Fisher & Paykel Nautilus dishwasher and I am getting a U1 code on the display with an annoying beep that won't stop, no matter how many buttons I push except power off.

I've just moved into the hbouse and the dishwasher was there, but no user manual (which is the thing that I've been referred to look in for the answer to my problem)

The Fisher & Paykel site only wants to sell me another machine or tell me where to put the detergent or rinse aid or some other obvious and quite useless info.

Can anyone help me? Please? The beeping is driving me kRaaaa@#$%^zzzzy!

Hi, Had the same problem. Look in the manual. If you don't have it, try this. Turn the dishwasher off at the power point, wait a few minutes turn it back on. I think U1 means either it failed to drain at the end of the cycle or it had too much suds. Can't remember which, but it seems to work. Good luck

Hi PJ,

Did you find a fix to your problem?

I only ask as my dishwasher has just started doing exactly the same thing ... normally 4 beeps at the end of the cycle and it stops ... but not it beeps forever! (with the U1 error code)
