Mend Suffolk Punch 35S Lawnmower Repair Carb

how can I fix. Suffolk Punch 35S lawnmower?

Starts on first pull; then cuts out. Will not then restart.good spark at plug and new ignition unit fitted last season.(new fuel in tank).
Appears to be carb. problem;- can you help - can carb be disassembled?
Mower about 6years old.

I would agree it is a carb issue, there is two small screws on the top of the carb ( not the one with a spring underneath ) once removed the float bowl will come away so as to get to the main jet.
