can't download?

I can't see any video on my acer aspire 5515 laptop. Example: 1)sites such as youtube and lifetime show nothing in the area where the video should be.2)hotmail sign in is just a blank page. I tried to download adobe flash player several times, but when I click to download anything nothing happens.
