thanx terry but the fan does kick in at top temp but 4 sum reason wen the engine is ticking over at idle or wen u are stuck in traffic the temp goes up and up until it gets too hot and the fan kicks in, but i think it is getting too hot too quick
The fan will normally only cut in when one is standing still. When the car is in motion, the passing air is enough to cool the engine. I would go for the sensor next but you really need a manual to find out where it is.
