How can I disconnect the fuel filler cap sensor on my 05 Renault Kangoo ?
Sliding door on filler cap side is locked and won't open regardless of whether or not filler cap is fitted. It's been suggested that if I completely disconnect the switch the door should be ok. I can't see a switch in the cap.
See http://www.autoinsider.co.uk/problems/show.php?problem=3940. Fixed my 07 Kangoo in ten minutes flat. Be aware though, this will disable the safety feature completely and you will be able to open the rear door whilst the fuel filler cap is open.
