Think my TV's tube may have gone?

My Bush TV (NOT FLAT SCREEN) on Sunday (yesterday) suddenly failed. The picture that was on at the time suddenly went small in towards the middle of the screen and then a vertical white line appeared for a few seconds then it never showed a picture /image again. Although you could still hear the sound. Do you think the tube may have gone. Regards Bob
