I am trying to locate the alarm on my Golf Mk4 gti.
I have had a problem with it going off when I open the door. I only have the key and not the remote fob.
it could be that opening with the key is not deactivating alarm system on some vw you
get a minute to switch on ignition before it will go off but if alarm is going off imediately you open door it could be the alarm switch in door lock unit
