I have q 1997 2.5 ltr diesel lwb transit. The drivers door will not open or lock from the inside handle. How do I remove the lock to see if it can be repaired?
All functions on the outer handle lock and key barrel are fine.
Take the door card off,check the linkage between your inner door handle and the lock is not detatched or broken,if not remove the anti theft covers from your lock,remove all linkages attatched to it,fit replacement lock and rebuild,may be quite fiddly but worth a go,good luck
