When pulling the switch towards me to change the headlights from dipped to full beam it does not work. (The switch does not click) Could this be a fuse, bulb or switch problem. Only the dipped headlight shows on the dash panel lights. Don't want to buy a new switch if it's just a fuse.
The car is a J reg Peugeot 205 1.1.
I had the same problem. Puzzlingly the same switch worked to flash the headlights to full beam when the lights were not on. I gave up on swapping and changing every fuse and relay I could find in the end, replaced the headlight wiring and fitted two new switches to the dashboard. It took ages but got me past the MOT man.

I'd suspect either the switch or the relay.
