Fast-forwarding to the final spin, the tank drains OK but the drum jerks briefly one way then the other continuously until the timer function concludes the cycle. No error codes and the troubleshooting solutions don't apply. It will do this regardless of load.
Further comment: this problem follows a 'permanent press' cycle where I want to fully spin the clothes after it's completed. If I complete a normal wash cycle it will then allow a proper spin after fast-forwarding. Could it be a s/w program error?

Callout time. Sounds like a faulty controller module but may also be caused by other reasons. Best to get it checked by someone eaperienced before spending big money on control boards.
