I have a GWL10U2 washer that keeps cutting of between every cycle. I can wait a few minutes and restart the machine but it will shut down again after a few minutes. I ran the lid switch and out of balance test and they passed. So did the drain and water valve test. The detailed fault code test would not return any fault codes. I would guess that the motor controller is overheating. Would that be correct?
we've got same problem. did you find out what was causing the problem?

Very rare if it is. More likely to be the drain pump overheating. When it cuts out try to tip machine back against wall and get someone to hold it while you get down & place your hand on the drain pump to see if it is too hot. When it cools down the overheat cutoff switch in the drain pump winding will reset and power will come back on to display panel. A check with a multimeter would confirm that the drain pump was open circuit.
