There are 2 different types of starter drives. One is retained by a roll pin that has to be driven out. The other is held together by a "C"-Clip on top of the starter shaft. If it's the C-Clip type it can be very challenging without the proper tools. SAFTEY GLASSES!!!!! It will most likely go flying when it comes off.
