Mend Briggs & Stratton 35 Classic Lawnmower Engine

My Briggs & Stratton 35 Classic?

My lawnmower starts fine, but after a very short period it cuts out. I have to prime the engine by pressing the rubber button, but this has little effect as the mower will only go for a very short time before cutting out again.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Replace the diaphram between the carb and the tank, whilst the carb is off drain the fuel tank, and clean the filter.
