what mechanism holds the drain pump on zanussi zjd12191?

The un official way is where the drain pump fits in to the filter housing (manifold) you need to push a large screwdriver between the gray plastic base and the white plastic manifold which lifts the manifold up slightly and then you can pull the pump out which is a push fit with an 'O' ring seal.to refit put washing up liquid on the 'O' ring and inside the collar of the manifold and then a firm push will refit it
