how do I fix my diplomat dish washer?

dish washer stopped halfway through rinse only cycle and I cannot get it to do any thing now, when I select a cycle and close the door it just bips twice. Had simular problem ages ago and I know I have to do something with the program selection button but what that is I cannot remember
