hi, i have a 1.6 tdci and after long journeys fault light comes on i have been imformed the fault is the particulate trap bank 1 / threshold too low anyone any ideas what the cause / remedy may be my car also had recent frontal accident damage could this be related ?
think this relates to the DPF(diesel particulate filter) give your motor a hard run reaching top revs in 1st 2nd and 3rd gears to get the exhaust really hot and burn off those carbon deposits
