why does my washing come out in brown streaks and smelly?
My washing comes out marked with brown streaks and also the washing does not smell as nice as it should... i.e it does not smell like the comfort I have used more like it has been wet and left in the machine for 2 days. It is a Zanussi jetsystem 1600.
hope you can help...it is about 9 year old.
the detergent we use today is different in as much lower temperature and some of it does not disolve and turns to bacteria which smells. although it is a zanussi if you ring hotpoint service they sell a cleaner which is in chachets which you put in your machine on a 95 degree wash with no clothes in and in will take the nasty smell away.
