Mend Ariston Mircrogenus HE 32 MFFI Boiler Hot Water Heating

Ariston Mircrogenus HE 32 MFFI - Hot water not getting up to temp?

Hi Guys,
I have a HE32 MFFI Boiler,
recently the Hot water has not been getting up to temperature. it runs hot and cold intermittently,
even with the water set at max .. Any ideas ?

Ariston have quoted £220 to come out and look at it .

There are two or three possible answers:
Hot water sensor is fauly:
CH filter is blocked:
Domestic Heat Exchanger is blocked:

Depending on the installation (ie new boiler on old system and the system not being correctly cleaned during install), the latter two are the most likely possiblity.

If it is a new boiler on a new system (cleaned correctly) the sensor becomes a possibilty.
