Mend Hoover VHD 9143ZD Door Light Washing

Door lock light remains on after cycle?

I have a Hoover VHD 9143ZD washing machine.
After wash cycle door lock light remains on and so cannot open door - have switched to off and put through further cycles etc but with no success.
Any advice much appreciated.

Hi there, we have had the same issue with a Samsung. The door interlock (electronic lock) is blown and so it needs to be replaced or bypassed.

If you take off the top cover of the machine there should be a manual release for the door.
