freezer does not maintain set temperature?

my freezer (apm6855-50:50 fridge freezer) temp alarm sounds. can only reset by setting 'super' function. however once super freeze cancels the freezer does not stay cold and as the temp rises the audible alarm sounds. reading other quotes this seems to be a recurring fault in this model fridge freezer. is the manufacturer going to do anything about it?
