I had exactly the same problem when I moved in to a new place a few days ago. This is what I did, it may be coincidence or whatever but it works now: I filled the drain hole at the back of the fridge (with the red thing sticking out) with a few pints of water. It may bugger your fridge but it fixed mine, depends how desperate you are!
