my boiler keeps shutting off when i have a shower, then re-ignites sometimes and if i give it a belt on the side, it fires up, what is causing this and how do i cure it
It sounds like the fan and fan venturi are dirty. The fan needs removing and cleaning out in cold water BUT DONT WET THE MOTOR... Failing that it could be the air pressure switch, if so this will need replacing if cleaning the fan dont work. cheers
