ford mondeo overheating?

check to see if the fan is coming on if its no fault with the fans wiring.

HEAD GASKET...
to find out if the head gasket has gone ask a garage to dip test the water also see if there is oil in the water, smell water bottle and sniff for petrol and also check oil filler cap and see if there is n e sign if it mixing should be a mustard colour on the oil cap

check top rad hose is getting hot and radiator is warm across the cooling fins,if not could be the thermostat
