My Dell Laptop starts for few seconds and then turns off?
I have Dell Vostro 1310 laptop. When I press power on button the power light stays on for 1-2 secs and then it turns off; no other light/fan turns on. I have checked battery, adapter and RAM, all are working fine.
What is the problem?
just had this problem the fan sensors needed replacing it had also naffed my motherboard

Had the same prob with my daughters laptop, the fan stayed on the whole time and then it would shut down, just open the back where the fan is and clean out all the dust in and around it, the vent is probably blocked, hope that works it did for me.
