How to fix burnt resistor on T-Fal Avante high-speed 2-slice toaster?
After opening my T-Fal Avante High-Speed Deluxe 2-slice toaster (875942), I found what appeared to be a badly burnt resistor. It is about 1 cm long, is located next to the power input, and is within a broken ceramic cylinder, and was labeled R1 on the board. What should be used to replace it? Any ideas why it failed?
